Introduction to the club

The Science Association of Royal College was established on the 1st of July 1909, and it is celebrating its 113th anniversary in 2022. Also, we were the first school Science association in Sri Lanka. From 1909 to 1999 the society published an annual magazine called Diwasa.

In 2000, the annual magazine’s name changed to SCI-CLONE, and it was a remarkable achievement that was scored by RCSA in the new millennium. SCI-ZONE, the only school Science Museum, was established in Sri Lanka by RCSA. As the most phenomenal event implemented by RCSA, SCI-EVE was successful in 1960 for the first time, and it was consecutive up to 2011.
